"Thank you Ricky B and Crawl Mag for your support, it was really a pleasure getting to hang out with
you and having at least one dry day at MMORV park to beat the crap out of our rigs with you. CRAWL ROCKS!. . . . .GEORGIA
ROCK RODS!!!" We would also like to thank all of our sponsors that helped make this ride such a success
and all of the folks that came out to show their support for the Wounded Warrior Project and honor all of those who have given
up so much for us and our families. We are very grateful to Kris and Randy Morris. They let us come
in and host this event at their park and then announced that they would be contributing all of the money from the gate and
park fees to the WWP as well. This attributed to over 4000.00 dollars of the grand total and was a surprise to us all. I thought
that it was enough that they let us use their awesome kickass park for such an event, but then to announce that all was going
to the cause was really upstanding of them both and we can't thank them enough. "Thanks guys, if there is anything
that we can ever do for you all, please let us know. We truly can't thank you enough. MORRIS MOUNTAIN ROCKS!" It
was truly a pleasure getting to meet some really great people that helped out with this event and actually went out of their
way to get a hold of us and help promote and sponsor this ride for no other reason than to help out the WWP. One of which
was Jamie Carr from SON of a Jeep out of Panama City, Florida. Jamie is a really great guy that helped us by getting some
really big sponsors and came all the way up to show his support. " Thank you for your service to my country and it was
great getting to know you and the rest of your crew from s.o.a.j. I look forward to wheelin with you again and I'll bring
the Sailor Jerry next time." Another man that really stepped up was Ken Mercer from Mercer Motorsports.
He showed up with a lot of goodies and put on a real show for everyone. I saw someone who does competitive racing come out
and let his hair down and really enjoy himself for a weekend. This is really what this event is all about for all of us, just
the grass roots of what makes rock crawling or rock racing our passion and absolutely the best sport in the world. "Thanks
for your support and it was a real pleasure getting to see you tear ass up the trails and show us what 600+ horses can do
when it's strapped to the back of a sweet little pint size racer. Ken, I hope that you'll leave Memorial Day open
next year and come rock out with us again." Grayson is one of the only people that has been helping
me since before we ever even announced that we were hosting the ride. He offered tons of advise and I remember him telling
me in the beginning just how much hard work and effort it was going to take to put together an event with all the things we
were wanting to put on our schedule. He helped me along the way with planning, advertising and working his butt off at the
event as well. Grayson if there was ever to be a Florida chapter of Rock Rodders you'd be my first pick. I appreciate
all of your help and hard work. I look forward to wheeling with you again. I owe you a bottle of my home brewed "apple
pie". Next time I'll make up a batch. Thanks for your help and you'll always be a friend of the Georgia Rock
Rods. Jason and his wife Melissa provided the great Mud Flappin BBQ. They came out ready to cook as well
as Roger and his wife Theresa who were also the folks that made us all of the trophies that we presented in the name of the
WWP and the GRR. They are very close and dear friends to us, and without their help this event wouldn't have been near
the success that it was. "Thank y'all and I can't wait until the next time I get to try and roll Roger in my
rig." I would also like to thank Andy Mace who is the gentleman that provided us with the video coverage
of the competition and the event. Andy will be selling the videos online and he will also be donating 5.00 per video sold
to the Wounded Warrior Project. I have provided a direct link to Andy Mace Productions at the top of this page. "Andy,
I really appreciate what you were able to do for us and I heard that you were really working your butt off up there at the
comp. with all the different angles on the rigs. Thank you for all of your hard work, we cant wait to start buying some of
your videos." Tom Hanson of Hanson Photography also covered our event and is selling photos of your
rigs in action. Tom is a close friend of ours as well and he can do just about anything you want with your photos. He and
his wife also do t-shirts, vinyl lettering/pictures and embroidery work. If you or your club is interested in any custom memorabilia
check out his link at the top of the page and drop him an e-mail. "Something that I really love most
about this event was the friendships that were made and the awareness that was raised. We all met some really great people
from the very start of this event all the way through till the very last day when we were packing up to leave. I found a lot
of strength and inspiration in one lady and her family that really helped drive me to make this event as good as it could
be. They will always be dear to us and close to our hearts for what they have done and are doing for those that have given
up so much for us and our families. I feel very honored to know Amy, her dad Ren,and their family. Thank you so very much
and know that this is just the beginning for the GRR's. We will be doing this event next year and every year as long as
we are able and it will keep getting larger and larger, bigger and better to help raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior
Project. Thank you and your family for helping us, I can't wait to see you all again." I want
each and everyone of you to know that we are leaving our sponsors page up to help promote all of those who have done so much
for the wounded soldiers who are able to come back home to their friends and families. I would ask that you please remember
these are the people and the companies that said yes and did do something to help make a difference. THE
GEORGIA ROCK RODS WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELPING US MORE THAN EXCEED OUR GOAL THIS YEAR FOR
THE WHEELIN 4 WARRIORS ROCK RIDE.
